Bangladeshi Students in India: BHU came forward for Bangladeshi students, gave this big facility without fees

Banaras Hindu University (BHU) has taken a big decision. Bangladeshi students who have completed their studies and wanted to vacate the hostel have been given relief. BHU has allowed these students to stay in the hostel. This decision has been taken because the situation in Bangladesh is not good right now. BHU’s International Center Coordinator Professor S.V.S. Raju said that Bangladeshi students may face difficulties in returning to their country. Therefore, BHU has taken this decision.

Giving information in this regard on the official Twitter handle of BHU, it is written, ‘Considering the ongoing situation in Bangladesh, Banaras Hindu University has decided to allow Bangladeshi passed out students living on campus to stay in the hostel till the situation in that country becomes normal.’

Students who want to stay in the hostel will be allowed to stay and will be given all possible help. They will not have to pay any fee for this. Professor Raju said, ‘We have assured the students that if they face any other problem while staying on campus, the university will solve it. They can stay here until the situation in Bangladesh becomes normal.’

Last month, students in Bangladesh launched protests against a quota system that reserves 30 percent of government jobs for the families of those who fought in Bangladesh’s 1971 independence war against Pakistan.
