So has BJP come to its senses? There is no emphasis on coordination with the Sangh in the assembly elections without any reason

New Delhi : One of the reasons for BJP losing seats in the Lok Sabha elections was also considered to be its lack of coordination with the RSS. BJP’s overconfidence could be gauged from the fact that its national president JP Nadda said in an interview during the elections that now BJP does not need the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh, it is capable on its own. But after the election results on June 4, this illusion of BJP also probably broke. Now BJP has geared up to not repeat this mistake in the upcoming elections. It is taking great care that no stone is left unturned in coordination with the Sangh. A glimpse of this is visible in Maharashtra, Haryana and Jharkhand where assembly elections are to be held this year. BJP is trying to increase coordination with the Sangh before the assembly elections to be held in three important states. For this, long meetings are being held between the leaders of both the organizations.

BJP-Sangh marathon meeting for Haryana elections

On Monday, Haryana Chief Minister Naib Saini, former Chief Minister and Union Minister Manohar Lal Khattar, Union Minister Dharmendra Pradhan, BJP’s Haryana in-charge Biplab Deb and co-in-charge Surendra Singh Nagar along with other BJP leaders from the state attended the meeting. BJP’s National General Secretary (Organization) BL Santosh also attended the meeting. RSS’s co-general secretary Arun Kumar and Haryana unit officials attended the meeting. Kumar’s job is to be a bridge between BJP and the Sangh. he/she has been given the responsibility of coordination between the two organizations. The meeting started on Monday evening and lasted till midnight.

Jharkhand in-charge Himanta Biswa met the Sangh’s Sar Sahkaryavah Arun Kumar

BJP’s Jharkhand in-charge and Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma also met Arun Kumar to discuss the Jharkhand elections. After the results of the 2024 Lok Sabha elections, it is believed that Sangh workers were not actively involved in the Lok Sabha elections. There was a lack of coordination between the BJP and its ideological mentor.

A section of the Sangh in Maharashtra is uncomfortable with the alliance with Ajit Pawar’s NCP

A similar meeting was held for two days for Maharashtra, which is an important election for both the BJP and the RSS. The meeting was attended by Union ministers Bhupendra Yadav, Ashwini Vaishnav, besides senior RSS functionaries including Arun Kumar and Atul Limaye. A section of the RSS has some objections to the BJP’s alliance with the Ajit Pawar-led NCP in Maharashtra.

During the Lok Sabha elections, Nadda had given the statement ‘BJP does not need the Sangh’

During the Lok Sabha elections, a statement by BJP national president JP Nadda became quite popular in which he/she said that now the party does not need the RSS to win. Nadda had said that earlier BJP needed the RSS but today it is capable on its own. Today the party is running itself. Then RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat had described Nadda’s statement as his/her personal opinion. When the results of the Lok Sabha elections were declared on June 4, the BJP fell far behind the magic figure of majority. It suffered huge losses in states like UP and Maharashtra.
