‘Bad News’ clashed with ‘Deadpool and Wolverine’, ‘Kalki 2898 AD’ surprised again on Sunday

While Hollywood film ‘Deadpool and Wolverine’ has created a stir at the box office, Bollywood’s ‘Bad News’ and South’s ‘Kalki 2898 AD’ have once again shown their power in the weekend. Vicky Kaushal, Tripti Dimar and Amy Virk’s ‘Bad News’ has earned 9.15 crores in its second weekend. While even after 32 days, Prabhas and Amitabh Bachchan’s ‘Kalki 2898 AD’ continues to be popular. This film has surprised everyone by earning a brilliant 8.15 crores in its fifth weekend. ‘Bad News’, directed by Anand Tiwari, had a net collection of Rs 29.70 crores in its opening weekend. The film’s earnings have dropped by more than -69% in the second weekend. But considering the budget of 35-40 crores, this can be said to be a better position for this film, especially when it is facing a tough competition from ‘Deadpool and Wolverine’ and ‘Kalki 2898 AD’ on the screen.

According to the report of sacnilk, ‘Bad News’ has done a business of Rs 3.75 crore in the country on the 10th day on Sunday. Thus, in 10 days, this film has made a net collection of Rs 52.00 crore at the Indian box office. Although, the earnings did not increase much on Sunday as compared to the earnings of Rs 3.25 crore on Saturday, but still the film has held its own in front of ‘Deadpool 3’.

These are the same circuits from where ‘Deadpool and Wolverine’ are also doing the best business. This film is now earning profit in the country, surpassing its budget. While its worldwide gross collection has also reached Rs 92.00 crore in 10 days.

‘Kalki 2898 AD’ earned Rs 4 crore on Sunday

On the other hand, Kalki 2898 AD’s earnings on Sunday have once again surprised everyone. On the 32nd day of its release, this film has earned more than ‘Bad News’ by earning Rs 4.00 crore. After earning 8.15 crore in its 5th weekend, the net collection of this film at the Indian box office has now reached Rs 632 crore. Out of this, the Hindi version has earned the highest amount of Rs 284.75 crore. While the Telugu version has earned Rs 281.81 crore.

Kalki 2898 AD Worldwide Collection

‘Kalki 2898 AD’, directed by Nag Ashwin, has a budget of Rs 600 crore. It has not only become a hit, but has also become the biggest Indian film of 2024 so far. The worldwide gross collection of the film is Rs 1024.55 crore. Out of this, gross earnings of Rs 274.00 crore have been made from abroad.
