New Delhi: The country’s politics is once again heated up over the Indian Army’s Agniveer scheme. After the Lok Sabha elections, the Congress and other opposition parties have started sharpening this issue. Rahul Gandhi is raising the issue of Agniveers from the streets to the Parliament. At the same time, Samajwadi Party, a constituent of the India Alliance, has also started opposing it. Priority in Uttar Pradesh Police and PAC recruitment

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said that Agniveers who return after serving the country will be given importance (weightage) in Uttar Pradesh Police and PAC Force (Territorial Armed Constabulary). he/she said that the country will get trained and disciplined young soldiers in the form of Agniveers. According to a statement, Yogi slammed the opposition’s politics on the Agniveer issue and said that the work of the opponents is to ‘create obstacles, create hurdles and spread rumours’ in every work of progress and improvement.

Uttarakhand government will also give reservation in jobs

On the occasion of Kargil Day, Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami said, ‘We will make provisions and bring an Act to give reservation to Agniveers in government services. We are working on this plan. We will use their skills and discipline in various government departments. The CM also announced that the assistance amount given to the families of the martyrs will be increased from Rs 10 lakh to Rs 50 lakh.’

Rajasthan government gave this gift to Agniveers

The Rajasthan government will provide reservation in state police, jail guard and forest guard recruitment to the youth who serve as Agniveers in the army. Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma made this announcement on Saturday. According to an official statement, “Chief Minister Sharma has made a big announcement for the Agniveers of the army on the occasion of Kargil Vijay Diwas. he/she has said that the Rajasthan government has made a provision of reservation in state police, jail guard and forest guard recruitment for the Agniveers who protect the country’s borders with a spirit of dedication and patriotism.” According to the statement, Sharma said that this decision of the state government under the guidance of Prime Minister Narendra Modi will give the Agniveers an opportunity to work in the state after serving the country.

Madhya Pradesh government will implement quota in police recruitment

Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav announced that his/her government will provide reservation to Agniveers in police and armed forces recruitment. he/she made this announcement on the 25th anniversary of India’s victory over Pakistan in the Kargil war. Under the Agniveer, Agneepath scheme, soldiers are deployed in all three wings of the army for four years. he/she said, ‘As per the wish of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the Madhya Pradesh government has decided to give reservation to Agniveers in the police and armed forces. The Agniveer scheme is actually an effort not only to modernize the armed forces and recruit capable soldiers, but also to make it young at the global level.’

Chhattisgarh government also made a big announcement

On the occasion of Kargil Vijay Diwas, Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai has made a big announcement for Agniveers. According to CM Sai, Agniveers will be given reservation in government jobs. Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai said that we are very happy to inform the Agniveers of Chhattisgarh that after their service, the Chhattisgarh government will provide them reservation on priority basis in the posts of police constable, forest guard, jail guard etc. Chhattisgarh government will soon issue a detailed instruction in this regard.

Haryana government is kind to Agniveers

Recently, the Haryana government led by Naib Saini announced a similar move on July 17. Chief Minister Naib Saini said that the state government will provide 10 percent reservation to Agniveers in direct recruitment to the posts of constable, mining guard, forest guard, jail warden and SPO. he/she has also announced a relaxation of three years in the age limit for Agniveers in Group B, C jobs in the state.
