Ranbir: Aamir Khan had tears and regret in his/her eyes, said- I have no relation with my mother and children

In one of his/her interviews, Ranbir Kapoor spoke a lot about his/her work as an actor, his/her goals and his/her personal life. In the same interview, he/she narrated an anecdote related to Aamir Khan and told how an emotional meeting with him/her changed his/her perspective on the profession of acting and the hustle and bustle of chasing stardom.

he/she said that when he/she talked to Aamir Khan, he/she was very regretful and only after this he/she decided to maintain a balance between his/her professional and personal life. In a conversation with Nikhil Kamat, Ranbir told that Aamir Khan talked to him/her about his/her regrets. Explaining further about this, Ranbir said, ‘I got to know Aamir Khan when I met him/her. I met him/her two years ago. he/she was thinking about something, so I asked him/her what happened? So he/she said that I spent 30 years of my life and I have only one relationship which is between me and my audience.’

Aamir had said- I have no relationship with my children

The actor told that Aamir had tears in his/her eyes and said, ‘I have no relationship with my children. I have no connection with my mother nor with Kiran (who was his/her wife then).’

Ranbir told how much difference Aamir’s words made

Ranbir told what Aamir’s words meant to him/her. he/she said, ‘This is what happens in this profession. You give your all. You also try to balance your reel life with your real life and not get influenced by your ambition. I don’t want to be influenced by ambition.’

‘I don’t treat my relationships like my work’

Aamir Khan had talked about these regrets in ‘Koffee with Karan’ and said, ‘A year ago, I did a lot of thinking and I felt that I did not nurture my relationships like my work. I realized that I have not spent so much time with Ira and Junaid since they were kids.’

Aamir said, how much have you changed now

Aamir also said, ‘Now, in the last few years, I have changed as a person. I am more attached to my family, my children, Kiran’s parents, Reena’s parents, my mother, sister and brother. I would like to spend more time with them at the cost of my work. But back then, whatever I was doing, I was doing it with a lot of passion.’
