Ego vs. Ego… Rahul’s words are the only way to counter the opposition, the inside story behind Shah’s attack

New Delhi : A different kind of fight is being seen between the ruling BJP and the opposition party Congress on the issue of ‘arrogance vs arrogance’. Earlier Rahul Gandhi was saying that PM Modi is arrogant along with BJP. Now BJP has adopted the strategy of answering the main opposition party Congress with its own weapon. BJP is following the policy of countering Congress with Rahul’s words. A sample of this policy was seen in Amit Shah’s speech in Jharkhand on Saturday.

Shah was seen attacking Rahul

Union Home Minister Amit Shah accused Rahul Gandhi of ‘showing arrogance in Parliament’ despite losing the 2024 Lok Sabha elections. Addressing Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) workers in Ranchi, Jharkhand, Amit Shah said that many times we see that in democracy arrogance comes after victory, such people are in power in Jharkhand. But this is the first time I am seeing that someone has become arrogant after defeat.

Shah’s direct message to Congress

Shah said that everyone knows who won the election, who formed the government. On Rahul Gandhi’s conduct in Parliament, Shah said that even after winning two-thirds of the seats, people do not become so arrogant. Shah said in a direct message to the Congress leaders that today I want to tell the Congress leaders from this platform that the NDA has got an absolute majority in this election. The BJP alone got 240 seats which is more than the combined seats of the All India Alliance. he/she asked that then why this arrogance?

Claim to form government in Jharkhand too

Shah said at a party meeting in Ranchi that the BJP has got more seats in this Lok Sabha election than the combined seats of the Congress in 2014, 2019 and 2024. he/she said that we have won for the third time in a row, but their leaders are still not able to accept defeat. Shah also targeted the Hemant Soren government. he/she claimed that the JMM-led government in Jharkhand is the most corrupt government in the country which is involved in land, liquor, mining scams worth crores of rupees. Citing the Lok Sabha election results in the state, Shah said that the BJP will form the government in Jharkhand as the lotus has bloomed in 52 out of 81 assembly constituencies in the Lok Sabha elections.

Rahul Gandhi said that BJP has insulted every person of Odisha. Rahul had said about the PM that Narendra Modi ji says that I do the work of God. Their (BJP’s) leaders say that Jagannath ji is a devotee of Modi ji. Rahul said that you can imagine how much arrogance has come into their minds.

Congress’s attack of arrogance even in elections

Even before the Lok Sabha elections, he/she had continuously accused the BJP of being arrogant. Rahul Gandhi had said that amidst the ever-increasing unemployment and inflation in the country, the youth and poor people are getting crushed under the burden of education, earning and medicine. The government is celebrating this by calling it ‘Amritkaal’. Rahul had said that the emperor, intoxicated with the arrogance of power, has gone far away from the ground reality.
