Congress will take out Nyay Yatra against the incidents in Gujarat, what will be the role of Rahul Gandhi?

New Delhi: After the Leader of Opposition Rahul Gandhi challenged the BJP to win Gujarat in Parliament, the focus of the Congress is now on Gujarat. In view of the assembly elections to be held in 2027, the Congress has already started preparations there. Immediately after the Parliament session, Rahul Gandhi visited Gujarat, where he/she met the victims of the accidents that happened in Gujarat in the last five years. After this, the Congress has now decided to take that exercise to the next stage, under which the party is going to take out Nyay Yatra in the first week of August to get justice for the victims, which will basically be a padayatra.

The journey will start from Rajkot, Gujarat

According to sources, this yatra will start from Rajkot in Gujarat, where a few weeks ago there was an incident of arson in the gaming zone. This is considered to be a very high profile case. Congress believes that four major accidents have happened in the state, in which not only corruption has taken place, but these are also somehow connected to BJP. These include the Takshila Arcade arson accident in Surat five years ago, in which 22 students were killed and 19 were injured, the Morbi bridge accident, in which 141 people were killed, the boat accident in Harni Lake of Vadodara, in which a total of 14 people including 12 students and two teachers were killed, and the gaming zone accident in Rajkot a few months ago. Congress argues that all these incidents have happened from a few months to five years, but still the victims and their families have not got justice. Congress has now made a complete plan to surround the BJP government on these issues. Under this, after Rahul Gandhi meets the victim families, Congress will now take out Nyay Yatra in all the districts where these incidents have taken place.

Congress will put pressure on the system

According to Congress sources, the purpose of this yatra is to put pressure on the system. In fact, in his/her last yatra, Rahul Gandhi had assured all the victims and their families that Congress will not only demand justice for you, but will also fight this battle of justice with them. A strategist of Congress said that the families of the people killed in accidents like Morbi and Takshashila have been waiting for justice for years, while the people responsible for these accidents are living comfortably outside the jail on bail. The said leader said that the attitude of the BJP government of the state is completely anti-people, so Congress has now planned to take up this issue seriously. According to sources, this yatra can start from August 1, which will last for about two weeks. Rahul Gandhi will also join it somewhere in the middle. In view of this, an appeal has been made by the state Congress to Rahul Gandhi to join it. However, the date and day have not been decided yet. In fact, the budget session of Parliament will be going on during that time. Therefore, Rahul Gandhi will join symbolically. It will connect two centres in Saurashtra, a district in South Gujarat, Surat and Vadodara. The yatra will touch the same areas where these accidents have taken place.
