New Delhi: The Supreme Court on Monday issued notices to private parties on a petition filed by the National Examination Agency (NTA). In this petition, a request has been made to transfer the cases pending in different High Courts against NTA regarding the NEET-UG controversy to the Supreme Court. At the same time, according to CBI sources, the incident of leaking of NEET-UG 2024 question paper is not the work of a well-planned gang and the scope of the paper leak is not large. When, what and how… everything is mentioned in the report
The CBI, while investigating the alleged irregularities in the medical entrance exam, has submitted a detailed report in a sealed envelope to the Supreme Court. Agency sources said that the scope of the paper leak was not extensive and the same thing will come out in the report given to the Supreme Court. Sources said that the court has been given information about what happened, when it happened, for how long the paper was out and who benefited. It has also been said that the list of beneficiaries will be submitted in the hearing. Who benefited from this paper leak?

Who is behind the paper leak?

According to sources, there is no organized gang involved in the paper leak case. The Supreme Court had on last Thursday deferred the hearing on the petitions related to the controversial NEET-UG 2024 till July 18. In these petitions, there has been a demand to investigate the alleged irregularities and rigging in the conduct of NEET-UG, cancel the exam and conduct a fresh exam. The Supreme Court took this step in view of some petitioners not being able to get copies of the affidavits filed by the Central Government and the National Testing Agency (NTA) in the case.

NTA has also filed an affidavit
NTA, which conducts NEET-UG 2024, has also filed an additional affidavit in the Supreme Court. The agency has said that it has done an analysis of the distribution of marks in NEET-UG 2024 at the national, state, city and centre level. NTA has said in its affidavit that this analysis shows that the distribution of marks is absolutely normal and there are no external factors that appear to influence the distribution of marks. NTA said that the Telegram videos showing pictures of the allegedly leaked paper are fake.
