What is the expected date of CUET Result? Now about one thousand candidates will be re-tested in Common University Entrance Test (CUET- UG). National Testing Agency (NTA) issued a notification on Sunday saying that the re-examination of the students will be held on July 19. This time NTA will conduct the re-examination in hybrid mode (computer based test and pen and paper mode) between 15-29 May. CUET The exam was conducted in 2024. Now all the students who will have to undergo retest will be tested in computer based i.e. CBT mode only. So will CUET Result 2024 come after the re-exam?

NTA has said that even if a student has given the offline exam earlier and now has to give a retest, he/she will still have to give the exam in CBT mode. NTA had released the provisional answer key, scanned images of OMR sheets, question paper and records by candidates on July 7. Students are still waiting for the final answer key. NTA says that the final answer key is being prepared based on the feedback of subject experts and it will be released soon.

Why is CUET re-exam happening?

Sources say that among the 1000 candidates who have given the retest, more than 200 are from the centre of the school in Hazaribagh, which came into the news due to irregularities in the medical entrance exam NEET-UG. At the same time, some students had complained about the loss of time due to the question paper being given in the wrong language, their retest is also being taken.

Sources are also telling that NTA has not been able to get the data of some candidates, those students will also have to take the paper again. Earlier, NTA had also conducted a retest of 1563 students who got grace marks in the medical entrance exam NEET-UG 2024, out of which 813 had given the re-test.

When is CUET Retest Admit Card, Result?

According to the NTA notice, the admit cards of the candidates will be issued soon. Admit cards can be downloaded on the basis of application number and date of birth. All these candidates will be informed through email and the subject codes will also be told.

There is also a question whether the pressure of medical entrance exam NEET affected the CUET result and did NTA show laxity regarding the university entrance result? NTA has not yet decided the CUET 2024 result date. In such a situation, it is expected that the results may come after July 20. However, no official information has been given about this.
