Somewhere happiness, somewhere sadness: India got a new coach, Pakistan expelled 2 selectors

New Delhi. The Indian team is going through a phase of positive change after winning the T20 World Cup. After the grand farewell of Rahul Dravid, Team India has got a new coach. Gautam Gambhir has become the new coach of the team. On the other hand, Pakistan has not yet recovered from the defeat. There is still a tussle going on in the Pakistan Cricket Board. The first blow of Pakistan’s defeat has fallen on its selectors. This responsibility has been taken away from Wahab Riaz and Abdul Razzaq.

The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has not only removed the selectors, but is also preparing to make some policy changes in the selection committee. Under this, the power of the chairman of the selection committee can be reduced. According to Cricinfo, Wahab Riaz and Abdul Razzaq have been removed from the post of selectors. Its formal announcement can be made anytime. Abdul Razzaq was the selector of the men’s team as well as the women’s team. Both these responsibilities have been taken away from him/her.

After Pakistan’s defeat in the T20 World Cup, Wahab Riaz was the biggest target. When the team was selected for the T20 World Cup, the post of Chief Selector was vacant. It was often said that Wahab Riaz was unofficially in this role. This is the reason that when Pakistan was out of the World Cup, the first demand was for Wahab Riaz’s resignation.

Pakistan’s team was eliminated from the tournament after losing two matches in the group stage of the T20 World Cup. Pakistan was defeated by India as usual. But its real embarrassment came after it lost to America. America had made it to the Super-8 of the T20 World Cup.
