ED again sends summons to Jacqueline Fernandez, will be questioned shortly in the 200 crore money laundering case

Actress Jacqueline Fernandez is once again in the news regarding the Rs 200 crore money laundering case related to Sukesh Chandrashekhar. The actress has been summoned by the ED for questioning on July 10. Jacqueline has been asked to appear at the ED (Enforcement Directorate) headquarters at 11 am. Earlier, the ED had told the Delhi High Court that Jacqueline Fernandez already knew everything about Sukesh’s fraud. Jacqueline will be questioned shortly. ED had already filed a chargesheet against Sukesh and Jacqueline Fernandez in this money laundering case. Jacqueline is accused of allegedly extorting Rs 200 crore from Aditi Singh, wife of former Fortis healthcare promoter Shivinder Singh, in which the actress also benefited. ED has questioned Jacqueline several times before.

During a statement recorded in 2021, Jacqueline Fernandez had told that Sukesh Chandrashekhar had given her several gifts including three designer bags, two Gucci dresses for gym wear, expensive shoes, super luxury brand bracelets, bangles, Rolex and diamond earrings. According to the chargesheet, Sukesh also confessed that after befriending Jacqueline, he/she had given her several gifts worth crores.

At the same time, in December 2023, Jacqueline Fernandez had approached the Delhi High Court to quash the FIR against her in this case. Jacqueline had said that she had no hand in this. Jacqueline is currently out on bail. Apart from this, Jacqueline’s name has also come up in the Mahadev Betting App case.
