Aamir Khan’s 90-year-old mother cut a tea-kettle cake on her birthday, granddaughter showed her grandmother’s fitness

Aamir Khan celebrated his/her mother Zeenat Hussain’s 90th birthday at his/her Mumbai home on June 13 last month. The function was attended by Aamir’s close friends and family members. Now a few days later, Aira Khan shared several unseen pictures from the function with a bittersweet note. On July 7, Aamir Khan’s daughter Aira Khan took to her Instagram handle and shared several unseen pictures from her grandmother Zeenat Hussain’s birthday. The photos capture several beautiful moments, including Aamir’s entire family together. Aira’s grandmother is also seen cutting the cake. We can see Aamir Khan with his/her close friends like Asha Parekh and family members including Reena Dutta, Kiran Rao and their children Aira Khan, her husband Nupur Shikhare, Junaid Khan and Azad Rao. Sharing the post, Aira wrote in the caption, ‘I know there are so many things and people in these pictures. And I wanted you to keep your focus on Dadi’s face. Only there.’

he/she further added, ‘It took 15 minutes to cut the cake. Standing can be tiring for them, there is a fear, weakness… as happens when people get older and their bodies change again. I wonder from time to time what it is like to age. Your hair turning grey is not the same as ageing. Your body starts deteriorating as you age. Where you start losing all your abilities.’

Guests from many cities

Reportedly, Sitare Zameen Par actor Aamir Khan had flown over 200 guests from several cities to Mumbai. According to a source, Hussain was not well for over a year. However, after his/her recovery, the family wanted to have a grand function. Family and friends from across India gathered to celebrate the special day. A source shared, “People are coming from Banaras, Bengaluru, Lucknow, Mysore and other cities.” Apart from this, Juhi Chawla was also spotted there.
