Australia-New Zealand’s stalwarts will umpire in the India-England semi-final

Dubai. Two big contenders to win the ICC T20 World Cup have been eliminated from the tournament. The stalwarts of these two countries have been made field umpires in the T20 World Cup semi-final between India and England.

New Zealand’s Chris Gaffney and Australia’s Rodney Tucker have been selected to umpire in the T20 World Cup semi-final. Both will be on-field umpires for the second semi-final of the T20 World Cup between India and England to be held in Providence, Guyana on Thursday. Joel Wilson will be the TV umpire in this match while Paul Reiffel will be the fourth umpire. New Zealand’s Jeffrey Crowe will play the role of match referee.

South Africa-Afghanistan semi-final umpire

At the same time, the responsibility of umpiring in the first T20 World Cup semi-final to be played between South Africa and Afghanistan has been given to the veterans of England and India. England’s Richard Illingworth and India’s Nitin Menon will umpire in this match. The first semi-final match of the tournament is to be played between South Africa and Afghanistan in Tarouba, Trinidad and Tobago, in which both of them will be field umpires.
