Australia defeated Namibia by 7 wickets in the warm-up match of the T20 World Cup. Namibia batted first in this match played in Port of Spain. It scored 119 runs for 9 wickets in the stipulated 20 overs. At one point, Australia had reduced Namibia to 75 runs for 7 wickets. At that time, Namibia was in danger of being bowled out for less than 100 runs.

After Tim David (23) was out, Warner along with Matthew Wade (12) led his/her team to victory. Warner completed his/her fifty in 20 balls. Australia won the match in just 10 overs.
