Anderson will bid goodbye to Tests after the first Test match of the series to be played against the West Indies in July. This 41 year old fast bowler gave this information on Saturday. Right-arm pacer Anderson is the only fast bowler in the world to take 700 wickets in Test cricket. He will turn 42 in July. He has taken 700 wickets in 187 test matches. After the announcement of Anderson’s retirement, Master Blaster Sachin Tendulkar’s great record was saved from being broken.

James Anderson is at third place in the list of bowlers taking the most wickets in Test cricket. In this list, Sri Lanka’s great spinner Muttiah Muralitharan is at the second place with 800 wickets in Tests, while Australia’s leg spinner Shane Warne is at second place with 708 wickets.
