[ad_1] Sometimes this happens when the whole society feels happy. This is not a great pleasure, a quiet happiness. I think we should enjoy this moment. The annual report on the recent education status, 2024 (Aser 2024) gives us a chance to celebrate. This report has been released for 20 years. Thousands of volunteers from more than 605 districts have participated in making this report. For years we were disappointed that our children were not able to learn properly. Both the government and the society made a lot of efforts. But now the results are showing that both the language and mathematics of children have improved a lot. This improvement is especially visible in class 5. We are still away from our goals, where all the children can read completely according to their class. But it seems that we have come to a turn from where it is difficult to turn back. Most of the children have compensated the damage done during the time of Corona. States like Uttar Pradesh have done well especially. Both the central and state governments have a major role in this. Focusing on basic education and mathematics is getting good results. 80% of schools reported that they have received both training and goods for basic education. Interestingly, children have learned more than private schools in the village in government schools. It is very important to pay attention to young children. Brain science says that millions of new neural connections are made every second in the early years of life. These initial connections lay a strong foundation for further connections.Early experiences create brain structure, which later affect the child's learning, behavior and health. What happens to children aged 0 to 8, it matters a lot. The goal of the National Education Policy is to read all the children of 3 to 6 years in good schools by 2030. We are moving towards this goal. The annual report on the status of education shows that 77.4% of the village's three -year -old children and 83.3% of the four -year -old children go to Prescool or Anganwadi. It is difficult to give one reason for this change. But Korona shook the entire education system. Schools had to be online. The government's 'initiation' platform worked. Teachers had to learn new skills overnight. Online classes started. It was agreed in the whole country that there should be no loss of children's education. Whatever could have been done for this was done.Suddenly the family started getting more involved in studies. Especially young mothers, who are more educated than their mothers, and have high expectations from their children. he/she himself learned and taught children. he/she learned to be online. he/she saw how children learn new things in sports. How the house can become a laboratory. People across the country talked to each other about their troubles and new discoveries. All the loss could not be stopped. The effect of staying for two years without going to school is visible in the middle school. The learning level of children of class 6, 7 and 8 has been the same as compared to previous ASER reports. We need to pay special attention to these children so that they too can come with the rest of the children. These children are going through adolescence. If we do not pay attention, then their confidence can be reduced. We still have a lot of work. But there is also a good news. Only 3% of children aged 14 to 16 years do not go to school. 89% of school going children have smartphones in their homes. Of these, 82% of children get to run smartphones well. It is possible that these children of middle school, who grew up in the digital world since childhood, can learn quickly with the help of AI. Such efforts are being made in Tamil Nadu.Young children should learn less than screen and more than sports. Albert Einstein believed that, 'Sports are the best way to search.' If the whole society helps children learn in sports and games, then we can achieve what most countries see only in dreams. That is, every child can learn happily, with his/her own will and respect.Recently, a nationwide campaign called 'Bachpan Mano' has started. Many social institutions including our Ecsteep Foundation are associated with this campaign. Its purpose is to encourage society, schools and families to play with children and help them to learn through sports. The government has also prepared a kit called 'Magical Pitara' for schools. It has many sports and activities from which children can learn using their imagination and creativity. We hope that it will become a big social campaign, such as ASER has become a mass movement to take stock of children's education.Today's three -year -old children, who are going to almost all presesters, will build the country in 2047. We have a golden opportunity to strengthen this generation of 0 to 8 years old. We have to make them learning those who can get into the changing environment. We have made a lot of progress. This is a calm moment of happiness that the society enjoys and ready for further work.Writer Rohini is the chairperson of Nilakani Palainthropise. [ad_2]
