Keerthi Suresh became a bride wearing her mother’s 30 year old saree, her mother’s love for designer clothes was overwhelming.


After dating Antony Thattil for 15 years, well-known South actress Keerthy Suresh got married in the last month of the year 2024. They took seven rounds as per Hindu customs on 12th December and then had a Christian wedding 3 days later i.e. on 15th December. Keerthi Suresh told that despite the saree being old, she did not show any hesitation in wearing it. Said that it does not matter how old the saree is or what it looks like, it is yours and you are wearing it. Besides, your old memories are also attached to it, that is what matters. She also praised her mother who maintained the saree so beautifully for so many years.

Kirti’s stunning red saree was adorned with beautiful silver floral motifs with shimmering zari embroidery. She beautifully paired the saree with a matching red blouse, which also had the same intricate silver embroidery and was designed with one-third sleeves. The actress completed her bridal look with diamond necklace, matching earrings, maang tikka and bangle set. She had tied her hair in a middle partition, on which the gajra was adding to her beauty.
