George Lohman’s magical bowling

England fast bowler George Lohman took 7 wickets for 38 runs in the first innings against South Africa, while in the second innings, he/she also showed amazing and took 8 wickets for only 7 runs in 9.4 overs. On the same day, in the year 1896, the South African team was won by England for just 30 runs in the first Test match of the series and his/her name was recorded as a shameful record. In the match played in theport Elizabeth, England won with a big margin of 288 runs in the match played in Elizabeth. Was done England had scored 185 runs in their first innings, after which the South African team assembled for just 93 runs. After this, England scored 226 runs in the second innings and gave a target of 319 runs to South Africa. The African team could play only 18.4 overs and their second innings was piled up for 30 runs. In the Test match played in Auckland in 1955, the New Zealand team was allotted for just 26 runs while playing against England.

Lohman’s wonderful record

There is a record in the name of George Lohman which has not been able to break anyone for 129 years. The record for the fastest 100 Test wickets is in the name of former England bowler George Lohman, who took part in only 18 Tests in his/her career. Shortly before retirement in 1896, this bowler made a magical record and touched the 100 Test wicket figure. he/she did this feat in his/her 16th Test match played in 1896 and became the fastest bowler in the world. 129 years have passed, but this record of Lohman has not been destroyed till date. This record of Lohman shows what kind of dangerous bowler he/she was.
