9 new engineering colleges opened in these districts of UP, students will do research in Kalam Patent Center

Abdul Kalam Technical University: AKTU VC Prof. JP Pandey said that a meeting of the working council was called on Saturday. The budget proposal placed in the 66th meeting of the finance committee was passed. Also, the proposals of the 70th, 71st, 72nd meeting of the Vidya Parishad and the 80th meeting of the examination committee have been approved. The proposal to create Kalam Patent Center to promote innovation and research in the university was placed in the meeting. Which was given the green signal.

The establishment of this centre will give recognition to research and innovation. Also, meetings of the affiliation committee were allowed. Apart from this, budget was approved for the new government engineering colleges built in Basti, Gonda, Pratapgarh and Mirzapur.

At the same time, the appointment of contract teachers in these new colleges was also approved. Special Secretary Technical Education Annavi Dinesh Kumar, Registrar Reena Singh, Finance Officer Keshav Singh, Vice Chancellor Prof. Rajiv Kumar, Prof. MP Gupta of AICTE through online medium, Prof. MP Mohite of IIT Kanpur, Prof. Varjeev Tyagi of IIT Roorkee and others were present in the meeting.

9 new engineering colleges will open:

VC Prof. JP Pandey said that affiliation has been provided to 9 new engineering colleges in the state. These colleges are in Sitapur, Greater Noida, Gorakhpur and many other districts. They have been approved in the meeting of the Executive Council. Apart from this, it was also decided in the meeting that AKTU teachers will also be able to start a startup.

Result of 300 students soon:

Many students in AKTU had complained to VC Prof. JP Pandey that they had passed all the semesters. Despite this, their grades were showing as not allotted in the final result. The VC took this matter seriously and investigated it himself. The investigation revealed that the results of about 300 students were pending due to technical reasons. The VC immediately ordered to solve the problem. The VC said that the results of 300 students have been released.
