880 liters of illegal liquor, 14 accused arrested

Alwar. In view of the assembly elections, Bhiwadi Police on Monday took major action against the criminals involved in illegal liquor smuggling activities in the district and arrested 14 miscreants. Bhiwadi Police secretly took action against illegal liquor smugglers on Sunday and Monday. In this operation, teams from all the police stations of the police district raided simultaneously at the same time. Under the special operation conducted, during simultaneous raids at several places, 880 liters of illicit liquor was recovered from the possession of the criminals, the value of which is said to be around Rs 2,42,000. Bhiwadi Police District SP Karan Sharma said that keeping in view the elections in Bhiwadi, raids and raids were conducted on Sunday and Monday to curb the activities of criminals involved in illegal liquor smuggling and to take strict legal action.

Before the action, preparations were made by all the circle officers and their teams to identify such criminals and monitor their locations and activities. After gathering information, different teams were formed, all the teams of the district simultaneously raided different suspicious places in the entire Bhiwadi district, surrounded the criminals and searched their criminal hideouts thoroughly. During the action taken by the police teams, 17 cases were registered against 14 people involved in the activities of selling illegal liquor. In this entire operation, about 880 liters of illegal liquor was seized, which included illegal English liquor 196 litres, illegal country liquor 341 litres, illegal beer 281 litres, illegal handcraft liquor 62 litres, the market price of which is said to be Rs 2 lakh 42 thousand. . SP Karan Sharma said that the main objective behind the campaign is to conduct fair and peaceful elections in the district and maintain law and order, to maintain fear among criminals and trust among the common people as well as to rein in the criminals.
