70th BPSC Exam: BPSC exam can still be cancelled, but under what circumstances? Minister gave update

Amid the ongoing controversy over the 70th Combined Competitive Examination of Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC), Bihar Minister and state BJP President Dilip Jaiswal on Tuesday said that if any irregularities are found in the ongoing investigation, the examination will be canceled. May go. he/she told the media, ‘It is a different matter that the examination has been conducted. Currently investigation is going on. If irregularities are found in the investigation, the entire examination may be cancelled. The government has not said ‘no’ yet.

The statement comes on a day when the Supreme Court refused to hear a petition seeking judicial intervention into alleged irregularities in the BPSC exam and asked the petitioners to approach the High Court. This is the government’s first significant statement on the movement, which threatens to escalate further after the arrest and subsequent bail of election strategist Prashant Kishore. Purnia MP Pappu Yadav and others have called for a Bihar bandh on January 12.

An opposition delegation also submitted a memorandum to the Governor and demanded an inquiry into BPSC matters by a sitting High Court judge. Meanwhile, Minister Dilip Jaiswal has urged the BPSC candidates to maintain faith in the government and BPSC and not be misled in any way.

In his/her statement, he/she has assured the students that the intention of the government is very clear that if any irregularities are found then the examination can be cancelled. It is in the best interest of the students to remain calm and wait patiently until the investigation is completed.
