6 times more centuries than Kohli, 3 times more centuries than Smith in 4 years, batsman will believe only after breaking Sachin’s biggest record!

New Delhi. Among all his/her achievements, Sachin Tendulkar is best remembered for two records. These two records are 100 centuries and most runs scored in international career. Virat Kohli is behind one of these records and Joe Root is behind the other. Kohli has scored 81 centuries so far and is 20 centuries away from breaking Sachin’s record. Joe Root is far behind Sachin in terms of international runs but is fast moving towards breaking the record of most runs in Tests.

England’s Joe Root is about to complete 13,000 runs in his/her 12-year test career. he/she has scored 12886 runs in 151 tests. On an average he/she scores 1000 runs every year. The special thing is that the speed of his/her runs is increasing with age. This can be gauged from the fact that from 2021 till now he/she has scored 5063 runs with the help of 19 centuries. That means 5 thousand runs in 4 years. Joe Root had 17 Test centuries in his/her account till 2020 and now he/she has 36 centuries in his/her name.

Six times century from Virat
Virat Kohli, Steven Smith and Kane Williamson, included in the Fab Four, together have not scored as many centuries as Joe Root in the last 4 years. These three have scored a total of 18 centuries since 2021. These include 9 centuries of Williamson. Virat Kohli has scored 3 centuries and Steve Smith has scored 3 centuries. That means, during this period, Joe Root has scored 6 times more Test centuries than Virat Kohli and 3 times more than Steve Smith.

51 test centuries in Sachin’s name
The record of most runs in Test cricket is in the name of Sachin Tendulkar. he/she has scored 15,921 runs in 200 Test matches, which includes 51 centuries. Ricky Ponting is at second place with 13,378 runs and Jacques Kallis (13,289) is at third place. In terms of most Test runs, Rahul Dravid (13,288), who is called the Wall of India, is at fourth place. The routes which are at number five.

Looking at Joe Root’s speed, it can be said that he/she will leave behind Rahul Dravid, Jacques Kallis and Ricky Ponting as early as 2025. There is currently a distance of more than 3,000 runs between Sachin Tendulkar and Joe Root. But this does not seem to be a distance that is beyond the reach of the route.
