Postal servants are posted in sub post offices, head post offices and Railway Mail Service (RMS) post offices, etc. Their work includes selling stamps, stationery, looking after the transportation and delivery of mail, IPPB deposit accounts and doing the work given by the postmaster or sub-postmaster. Postal servants posted in post offices also have to handle the receipt and dispatch of incoming or outgoing mail. They also have to help the post master or sub-post master in handling the work of the department.
