4 reasons… Team India bowed down in 3 days, suffered a blow in pink ball test

New Delhi. Australia has responded to the Indian cricket team in its own aggressive style. The defeat in Perth was avenged with a strong 10-wicket win in Adelaide. Team India had entered the Pink Ball Test with a 1-0 lead but the host team won and leveled the series at 1-1. There were many reasons for the Indian team’s defeat in this match but the real reason was its poor batting.

After the arrival of captain Rohit Sharma, there was enthusiasm in the Indian team but Australia completely cooled it. Jasprit Bumrah had pulled Team India out of trouble and led it to victory in the Perth Test but captain Rohit Sharma failed to do so. One of the reasons for India’s defeat was the poor batting of the captain. On top of that, he/she did not stop his/her players from provoking the host team players by sledging them.

opening failed
It would not be wrong if the biggest reason for the Indian team’s defeat in the Pink Ball Test in Adelaide was the failure of the opening pair. In Perth, Yashasvi Jaiswal and KL Rahul had a partnership of more than 200 runs in the second innings and India won the match. Here the opening pair failed in both the innings. The account was not opened in the first innings whereas in the second innings, Yashasvi and Rahul added only 12 runs.

Rohit and Virat failed
The two experienced batsmen of the Indian team, who had the biggest responsibility of scoring runs, failed. Captain Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli were of no use to the team in the Adelaide Test. Rohit was out after scoring 3 runs in the first innings and 6 runs in the second. Virat scored 7 and 11 runs in this match.

Nitish did not get support
Young Nitish Kumar Reddy scored the most runs in both the innings of this test match against Australia. Playing only the second Test of his/her career, he/she scored 42-42 runs in both the innings. This player, who was facing the Australian bowlers alone, did not get support from anyone on the other side.

Provoked Australia by sledding
Our players did the same mistake that Australia made in the last few series against the Indian team due to which they lost. Sledging against the players of the host team cost India dearly. The result of provoking Mitchell Starc in Perth was seen in this match. he/she took 6 wickets in the first innings and 2 wickets in the second. Travis Head played a brilliant inning of 141 runs.
