4 Israeli hostage returned to Israel by Hamas


The Times of Israel, citing Israel Defense Forces (IDF), said that four Israeli hostage, soldiers Kareena Arerev, Deniella Gilboa, Nama Levi and Liri Albag have crossed the border and returned to Israel.

The Israeli was taken out of the Gaza Strip by special forces after the release soldiers were handed over by the Red Cross. The IDF is taking him/her to a facility center near the border for the first time for preliminary investigation and for 477 days to meet his/her families.

These soldiers, who were members of the IDF monitoring unit, were kidnapped by Hamas terrorists during an attack on the Nahl Oz Post on 7 October 2023.

In a post on X, IDF said, “Liri, Daniella, Nama and Kareena are at home.”

It also shared a video in which the families of the hostages were shown to be happy to see their loved ones for the first time after coming back home. Women monitoring soldier Agam Berger is still hostage in Hamas’s captivity. Five women soldiers were abducted by Hamas on 7 October from the Nahl Oz Base.

While sharing the video on X, the IDF wrote, “The moment when the families of the hostage released when they finally saw their loved ones coming back home, the tears of grief turned into tears of happiness.”

Earlier, the footage of Tel Aviv Hostage Square showed that when Hamas freed the hostages and handed them over to the International Red Cross, Kareena Ariva, Daniella Gilboa, Nama Levi and Liri Albagh jogged the crowd happily Got up, the Times of Israel reported.

After 471 days in Gaza, the hostages were returned to the Israeli region. This marked the official start of the first phase of the ceasefire-manager agreement, which delayed the implementation shortly before the implementation due to concerns about Hamas’s commitment to provide the list of hostages.
