Baroda team, playing without Hardik Pandya, made a new world record against Sikkim. Baroda scored 349 runs for 5 wickets in 20 overs in the match against Sikkim in Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy. Which is the biggest score in T20 cricket. Earlier, the world record of T20 was in the name of Zimbabwe which had scored 344 runs for 4 wickets against Gambia in October this year. Now Baroda holds the world record for scoring the highest total of runs in T20.

Baroda team hit a world record total of 37 sixes against Sikkim. Sikkim bowlers looked helpless in front of Baroda batsmen. Earlier, 27 sixes were hit in the match between Zimbabwe and Gambia. Compared to that match, Baroda’s batsmen hit 10 more sixes. Five batsmen of Baroda scored runs at a strike rate of more than 200. For the first time in the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy, a team has touched the 300 mark.
