3 terrorist attacks in 72 hours of Modi 3.0, is any new local network active in J&K? Security forces suspect

New Delhi: PM Modi has become the Prime Minister of the country for the third time. From the day of PM Modi’s swearing-in for the third term, terrorism has started raising its head in Jammu and Kashmir. In the last 72 hours, terrorists have carried out 3 terrorist attacks. Has any new local network become active in Jammu and Kashmir, which is supporting Pakistan-backed terrorists? This is now giving tension to the security forces and intelligence agencies. According to central intelligence sources, a new terrorist network helping foreign terrorists involved in the three attacks in Jammu and Kashmir (J&K) in the last 72 hours is suspected to be caught. Local people and local terrorists are said to be involved in this network. 11 people were killed and about 50 people were injured in these attacks.

Why is the intelligence agency in tension?

In each attack, the foreign terrorists got precise information about the escape routes, hideouts and camps of the security forces, which has raised concerns. Agencies suspect that there is a new or old local support network which is helping, including by providing food items. Top officials of Jammu and Kashmir Police, CRPF and intelligence agencies say that these attacks show the failure of the terrorist groups, especially after India successfully conducted the Lok Sabha elections in Jammu and Kashmir.

Are the terrorists in contact with the local people?

According to sources, a few weeks ago it was reported that about 70-80 foreign terrorists had infiltrated. They procured weapons, got easy shelter and food, gathered information about the camps of the security forces, learned how to reach specific targets and gathered information about deserted areas to facilitate their escape after the attacks. Sources say that these foreign terrorists are suspected to be in contact with local people, who may also help them reach the places of attack. Security forces and intelligence agencies suspect that there may still be more terrorists in Jammu. It is also feared that these terrorist organizations are carrying out attacks together.

There is a suspicion that the local network is getting stronger again

The biggest concern of the security forces is how the terrorists managed to escape from the place of attack. A senior officer monitoring anti-terrorism operations in Jammu and Kashmir told the news channel, News18, ‘The way they were able to escape from the place of attack without knowing all the routes, it seems that some local person must have accompanied them and shown them the way. Also, after the attack, they must have got shelter with local help and must have also got information about the activities of the security forces through open sources.’ Another officer said that these terrorists have strengthened the local network again, which includes ground helpers, local terrorists and perhaps some common people as well.

Police also alert

Additional Director General of Police, Jammu Zone, Anand Jain, while giving information about the incident, said that at around 8 pm, two suspected terrorists who had entered from across the border appeared in Sanjha Sukhal village and asked for water from a house. The villagers got scared. As soon as the information was received, a police team led by a sub-divisional police officer and a police station in-charge reached the village.

9 people died in terrorist attack

In one of the biggest attacks after the abrogation of Article 370, a bus carrying pilgrims from the Shivkhodi temple to Katra was attacked by terrorists in Reasi district on Sunday. Due to firing from all sides, the bus fell into a deep gorge, killing 9 people and injuring 41 others.
