New Delhi. The world’s tallest cricketer Mohammad Irfan has announced his/her retirement from international cricket. Pakistan’s left arm fast bowler Mohammad Irfan is the third Pakistani cricketer to bid goodbye to international cricket in the last 36 hours. Before Irfan, left arm fast bowler Mohammad Aamir and all-rounder Imad Wasim have also announced retirement from international cricket. Irfan was dropped from the Pakistan team for the last few years. he/she was not getting a place in the team for the young fast bowlers. Apart from this, Irfan was also troubled by injury due to which he/she had to be in and out of the team. he/she has announced his/her retirement through an emotional note.

42 year old Mohammad Irfan wrote that I am retiring from international cricket. I am thankful to all my teammates, coaches and all of them for giving me a lot of love. I will continue to support the game in the future also, thanks to which I am standing here today. Irfan said that this game has given me a lot. Mohammad Irfan played 4 Tests, 60 ODI International and 22 T20 International matches for Pakistan. he/she took 10 wickets in Test and 83 wickets in ODI while Irfan has 16 wickets in T20 International.

Mohammad Aamir retired from international cricket for the second time
A day before Mohammad Irfan, Mohammad Aamir announced his/her retirement from international cricket. Before Aamir, all-rounder Imad Wasim also decided to leave international cricket. PCB had made Aamir and Imad come back in the T20 World Cup after breaking their retirement, but the performance of both of them was lackluster in the World Cup. Both of them announced their retirement for the second time. Aamir made his/her debut in international cricket in the year 2009. he/she played 36 Test, 61 ODI and 62 T20 international matches. Mohammad Aamir took 271 wickets in his/her name in international cricket while during this period he/she scored 1179 runs with the bat in which Test, ODI and T20 runs included. Aamir last appeared for Pakistan in the T20 World Cup 2024, which was jointly hosted by America and West Indies.

Imad Wasim’s cricket career
Imad Wasim last played international cricket for Pakistan in the T20 World Cup. Imad Wasim made his/her debut in international cricket in May 2015. After making his/her international debut against Zimbabwe, he/she played 55 ODI and 75 T20 International matches. During this period, Imad took 117 wickets in 130 international matches. he/she also scored 1540 runs during this period. Imad could not impress with bat in the T20 World Cup.
