3 Indian cricketers who changed their religion, all left Hinduism and became Christians, what was the reason?

Some had to change their religion because of their wife and some because of their parents. There are 3 cricketers from India in this list who changed their religion. All three of them adopted Christianity.

Indian cricketer Robin Uthappa’s father is Hindu and mother is Christian. he/she started following Christianity after being a Hindu for a few years. However, Uthappa is married to a Hindu girl. he/she got married according to both Christian and Hindu customs. Robin married Sheetal Gautam.

Indian cricketer Kripal Singh also changed his/her religion. he/she was born in a Sikh family. he/she married a Christian girl. So after marriage, he/she converted to Christianity. Kripal Singh changed his/her name to Arnold George in the Bagh. he/she also shaved off his/her beard after becoming a Christian.
