3 films of South will stop ‘Alexander’ on Eid! Pawan Kalyan, Mohanlal, Devarakonda will give collision

The first month of the year 2025 has passed cold at the box office. The business of new release films from Bollywood to South has been slow. In such a situation, everyone is eyeing Eid, when Salman Khan’s most awaited film ‘Sikander’ will be released. Interestingly, while there is no other Bollywood film ready to face ‘Alexander’, three superstar films in South Cinema will hit Salman Khan. Among them, Pawan Kalyan, Mohanlal and Vijay Devarkonda have films. The list of IMDB was released in the past, in which Salman Khan’s ‘Alexander’ was described as the most awaited film of 2025. The film, directed by ‘Ghajini’ fame AR Murugados, also stars Rashmika Mandana, Sunil Shetty, Satyaraj, Sharman Joshi, Kajal Aggarwal and Prateek Babbar. The film is scheduled to release on 28 March 2025.

South’s 3 big films are being released on Eid

It is now reported that even though there is no Bollywood film colliding with ‘Sikander’, it can get a strong competition from the South Indian film industry. Superstar and Andhra Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan’s film ‘Hari Har Veera Mallu’, Mohanlal and Prithviraj Sukumaran’s ‘L2: Empuran’, and Vijay Devarkonda’s VD12 VD12 is also preparing to release in theaters on the occasion of Eid.

Among these South films, ‘L2: Emoran’ is heavy. This is the sequel to Mohanlal’s blockbuster Malayalam film ‘Lucifer’. Prithviraj Sukumaran is the director of the film and is about to release it Pan India. Now if this film is liked by the Hindi audience, then surely ‘Alexander’ has the ability to compete in its home ground. The film is releasing on 27 March 2025.

Another big release of Eid 2025 is ‘Hari Har Veera Mallu’. After becoming the Deputy Chief Minister, Pawan is returning to the welfare screen. Also, Bobby Deol is also in a negative role in it. However, the film is impressive in the Telugu market. But it will also be released on a few screens in the Hindi version. This period action-drama will definitely make a blast at the box office in South. But how much emphasis does it go on in Hindi will be a matter of view. ‘Hari Har Veera Mallu’ will be released on 28 March 2025.

Vijay Devarkonda’s VD12 can also show power

Vijay Devarakonda is putting the third big stake from South. On the occasion of Eid, his/her VD12 is coming on March 28, whose title has not been decided yet. However, it is a short film in front of ‘Sikander’, ‘Hari Har Veera Mallu’ and ‘L2: Empuran’. But if Pawan Kalyan’s film is delayed, Vijay’s film may get a chance.

… but ‘Alexander’ is the heaviest

However, among all this, there is also a big thing that these three are not going to be very strong in front of Salman Khan’s ‘Alexander’ at the Hindi box office. We have seen the actor’s superstardam and his/her fan following in 2023, when his/her ‘Tiger 3’ earned Rs 44.50 crore on Opening Day despite his/her release on the day of Diwali. This also matters because it is a festival when people do not like to leave the house and go to the theater due to busyness. ‘Tiger 3’ did a net collection of 282.79 crore in the country and a gross collection of worldwide 464 crores.

IMDB released 2025’s list of 20 most awaited films, not Yash’s ‘Toxic’, Salman’s ‘Alexander’ is on top

Fans will be seen on Eid all over the country

If you pay attention to the current buzz of these four films, ‘Alexander’ is in a much better position than any other release. Especially on the occasion of Eid, the release of Salman’s film is like a festival for his/her fans. But it is so important that this time from Bollywood to South on Eid, the entire week is going to be the name of fans for superstars.
