27-year-old social media influencer fell into a 300 feet deep ditch while making a reel, she was shooting near this famous waterfall


These days travel blogging has increased a lot. People who are fond of traveling go to different places in India and share their experiences with people. But this work is not so easy. Rather, many risks are associated with it. Recently, 27-year-old Mumbai-based travel blogger Anvi Kamdar died while making a reel. Actually, she had gone to Kumbhe waterfall near Mangaon in Raigad district of Maharashtra with seven friends. While making a video there, she fell into a 300 meter deep gorge and died. There are 2.6 lakh followers on Instagram
Let us tell you that Anvi was quite famous in terms of travel blogging. Her account was famous by the name @theglocaljournal. She also had more than 2.6 lakh followers on Instagram. Anvi was a chartered accountant by profession.

The accident happened on 16th July at 10:30 am when Anvi was shooting a video with her friends. Little did she know that her art would become the reason for her death one day. She was shooting a video on a small spike near Kumbhe waterfall, when suddenly her foot slipped and she fell into a 300 feet deep gorge. After this incident, her friends informed the local authorities. After this, a rescue operation was immediately launched. Apart from the rescue team, Kolad Rescue Team and Maharashtra State Electricity Board also helped, but no one could save Anvi.

It was difficult to pick up
A rescuer told NDTV that as soon as we reached the spot, we found that the girl had fallen about 300-350 feet down. Even after reaching her, it was difficult to lift her because she was injured and it was raining heavily. So we decided to pull her out using a vertical pulley.

Where is Kumbhe Waterfalls

Kumbhe waterfall is located in Mangaon taluka of Raigad. Its distance from Mumbai is 140 km, from Pune 110 km and from Lonavala 107 km. All the villages near this waterfall are very small but beautiful. The view here is worth seeing during monsoon, so people from Mumbai and nearby places come to explore this waterfall.

People come for trekking and camping
Its beauty is such that people come here for picnics, trekking and camping. People who love nature like this place very much.

Appeal to local authoritiesAfter Anvi’s death, Mangaon police and local officials have appealed to people to be cautious. Officials have said that people should enjoy tourism, but give priority to their safety while traveling. Any risky behavior should be avoided at the tourist spot.
