2500 CISF personnel deployed for the security of Parliament, Parliament Security will identify the MPs

New Delhi: After the formation of the new government, the first session of the Lok Sabha will begin from June 24 and the first session of the Rajya Sabha will begin from June 27. CISF has also been deployed for the security of the Parliament for the first time. CISF has not yet received written orders to protect the Parliament. Despite this, CISF will take over the responsibility of security. Top officials of CISF and Parliament Security Service have made tight arrangements to identify MPs and ministers and to ensure that there is no problem in their protocol while entering the Parliament building.

2500 CISF personnel deployed in Parliament House
CISF will not do the work of identifying MPs and ministers. As before, this responsibility will be on the officers of Parliament Security Service. Currently, 2500 CISF personnel are deployed for the security of Parliament House. These include commandos as well. After the deployment of CISF, Delhi Police and CRPF have been removed from here. To ensure that no mistake is made on the first day of the Parliament session, all the senior officers of CISF and Parliament Security Service will be deployed at the gates from where MPs and ministers will enter.

MPs do not have scans
An official said that the pass of any MP or minister will not be scanned before entering the Parliament House. As before, all those security officers will be deployed at the entry gate who have already performed their duties by ensuring the identity of all the MPs and ministers after the formation of the new government. Delhi Traffic Police will manage the traffic system as before, while the matter of police action will be taken care of by Delhi Police as before.
