24 people died in Gujarat’s Rajkot fire, PM Modi expressed grief by tweeting

New Delhi: A massive fire has occurred in Rajkot, Gujarat. A massive fire broke out in the gaming zone of TRP Mall behind Sayaji Hotel in Kalavad of Rajkot district on Saturday evening. So far 24 people have died tragically in this accident. Many people are suspected to be trapped. A large number of people were present in the gaming zone when this incident occurred. Over the weekend, many families had reached the game zone of the mall with their children. After receiving the information, the fire brigade and police teams reached the spot and started the rescue. According to the information, many people are feared to be trapped amidst the fire and smoke. Many fire brigade vehicles are present on the spot to control the fire. According to the administration, the death toll in this accident may increase further. The bodies of the deceased are badly burnt, it is becoming difficult to identify the bodies. At present, no information has been given by the administration as to how many people were present in the gaming zone at the time when this accident occurred.

Orders have been given to close all gaming zones of Rajkot with immediate effect.
