24 KM section of Delhi-Mumbai Expressway opened for public in Faridabad-Haryana,

Opening of expressway section will provide relief from traffic.

This expressway is a milestone for connectivity between Delhi and Mumbai. The National Highway Authority of India (NHAI) has not yet announced the official inauguration day for this expressway, but the 24 km section in Faridabad and Haryana has been opened to the public.

The purpose of opening the new section is to divert traffic on National Highway 19, as NH-19 faces frequent traffic jams. Now due to the expressway, there will be less congestion on the road and people will get rid of traffic problems.

From where to where will the expressway connect?

The Delhi-Mumbai Expressway connects the Delhi-Agra route, making it easier for travelers from Faridabad to travel. The expressway has been built at a cost of Rs 1,729 crore. This expressway will provide a lot of relief to the people of Kelly village of Ballabhgarh from Mithapur on the Delhi border.

The new section of the expressway has 6 entry and exit points. This will provide a lot of relief to people traveling in the local area as well as those traveling long distances and their journey will be comfortable. Not only this, this expressway has been designed in such a way that the vehicles on it can move in flow.

About speed of expressway

We all know that there are some rules regarding speed on the expressway, which is mandatory for every driver to follow. Expressways are designed to cope with traffic and control the overall speed of traffic. The speed is 120 km/hr. The expressway has a 12-lane layout, with a 6-lane main carriageway and a 3-lane roadway, providing ample space to vehicles plying on the route.

50,000 vehicles can run here every day

According to media reports, this expressway is said to have the capacity to handle more than 50,000 vehicles per day. This will help in reducing congestion on city roads and improving all over traffic flow. As we have mentioned above, the expressway also connects to the Delhi-Agra Expressway (NH-19), making commuting to Faridabad easier. Whereas the route of the expressway starts from DND Flyway (Delhi Noida Direct Flyway) in New Delhi.
