23 year old youth went to Australia and scored a century, exploded in trouble


McCoy. The Indian team has to go on a tour of Australia from this month. Before this, India A team has reached there and is playing a match against Australia A team. 23 year old Indian batsman Sai Sudarshan played a brilliant century innings on the third day of the four-day match. Despite difficulty, this batsman was successful in completing his/her century. On the basis of this innings, India A set the target of 225 runs on the third day of the unofficial test match against Australia A.

Sudarshan (103) extended his/her innings by 96 runs in the morning and completed his/her century, but Devdutt Padikkal was out on 88 runs. Both of them made a partnership of 196 runs for the third wicket, due to which the Indian team scored 312 runs in its second innings and set a target of 225 runs for Australia. The Indian team was out for 107 runs in the first innings, in response to which the Australian team scored 195 runs.

However, the Indian bowlers could not put pressure on the Australian batsmen in the second innings like in the first innings. By the end of the third day’s play, Australia A had scored 139 runs for three wickets in its second innings and is now only 86 runs away from the target. At the end of the third day’s play, captain Nathan McSweeney and Beau Webster were playing on 47 and 19 runs respectively. Australia A’s score at one time was 85 runs for three wickets. After this, both these batsmen did not allow the team to suffer any further setbacks.

The Indian team progressed its second innings in the morning by 208 runs for two wickets but Sudarshan and Padikkal could not prolong their innings. Other batsmen of India disappointed. Among other batsmen, Ishan Kishan contributed 32 runs. For Australia A, fast bowler Fergus O’Neill took four wickets for 55 runs and off-spinner Todd Murphy took three wickets for 77 runs.
