In the Indian market, the 2021 BMW 5 Series Facelift will face direct and tough competition from premium cars like Audi A6, Mercedes-Benz E-Class facelift, Jaguar XF and Volvo S90.
The 2021 BMW 5 Series facelift gets new L-shaped LED DRLs and new full-LED adaptive headlamps. At the same time, smoked LED taillights have been given in its rear. In this, customers get a new set of alloy wheels. Its M Sport variant gets ‘BMW Laserlight’, which increases visibility up to 650 meters. Its cabin has also been upgraded. It has two 12.3-inch screens for the instrument console and infotainment system. Its infotainment system now supports Android Auto as well. Earlier, only Apple CarPlay was supported in it. Its user interface has been updated with the new iDrive 7.
Talking about its power performance, it has been given a 2.0-liter 4-cylinder petrol and diesel engine for power. Apart from this, customers will also get the option to choose a 3.0-litre, 6-cylinder diesel engine in it. It gets an 8-speed automatic transmission as standard. It gets adaptive suspension, 6-airbags, ABS with BA, DTC and many safety tech features for safety.
