This women’s team also won the Under 19 T20 world title last year.

On June 2024, India won the T20 world title under the captaincy of Rohit Sharma. Rohit Sharma made India the world champion by defeating South Africa in the T20 World Cup final. The Indian team scored a score of 176 runs against Virat Kohli’s fifty against South Africa.
