2 more nuclear submarines… After this decision of Modi government, China’s tactics will not work in the sea

New Delhi: India has recently taken a big step for its security. India has approved the construction of two new nuclear submarines. The Cabinet Committee on Security led by the Prime Minister has given permission to build two indigenous nuclear submarines. These submarines can attack by hiding inside the sea. This shows that India is paying more attention to stopping its enemies at sea. This step of India is considered very important in view of China’s aggressive strategy and the threat to Indian aircraft carriers from Chinese missiles.

China’s evil eye in the maritime sector

China is increasing its power in the Indian Ocean. On an average, 7 to 8 Chinese warships and 3 to 4 small ships roam in the Indian Ocean every month. China is also planning long-range voyages for larger warships. This means that the number of Chinese ships in the Indian Ocean may increase further. In view of this step of China, it is necessary for India to be strong for its security. The construction of these nuclear submarines will also increase the strength of the Indian Navy manifold to protect the sea routes.Another powerful submarine next year
The Indian Navy is going to get another powerful submarine next year. This submarine (INS Aridaman) will be capable of carrying out nuclear attacks on the enemies. After the arrival of INS Aridman, India will have three such submarines which can carry out nuclear attacks from under the sea. India’s first nuclear submarine, INS Arihant, can fire K-15 missiles with a range of 750 km. Whereas the other two submarines can fire K-15 as well as K-4 missiles with a range of 3500 km.

Submarine is also going to be received from Russia
Apart from this, India is also going to get another attack submarine from Russia. This submarine will come to India by 2028. However, there may be a slight delay due to the Ukraine war. India wants this submarine to be found by the end of 2027. India’s demand for two attack submarines shows that Pakistan is no longer the biggest threat to India. India’s eyes are now on China, which remains a threat to India from both land and sea.

India’s decision is important from China’s point of view
Tension between India and China has not reduced since May 2020. Nuclear submarines are extremely important for India in view of the increasing threat from China and its allies in the Indian Ocean region. It is necessary for India to build nuclear submarines to strengthen its maritime security. Due to the increasing influence of China, it has become important to protect India’s trade routes. For this, India has decided to build nuclear submarines.
