19 year old batsman will create history as soon as he/she enters the fourth test match

Melbourne. Before the Boxing Day Test against the Indian team, both good and bad news is coming out for the host team. Australia’s young opening batsman Sam Constas is ready to make his/her Test debut in the Boxing Day Test match against India. At the same time, there is doubt about the playing of Travis Head, who was injured in the third test match. Even before his/her debut, Constas has come into limelight by giving a statement about Indian team’s star bowler Jasprit Bumrah.

Selector Tony Dodemide, during the practice session on Tuesday, informed about the inclusion of this 19-year-old batsman in the playing eleven for the fourth Test match against India starting from December 26. Constas will become the 468th player to play Test cricket for the Australian men’s team. Constas will become the youngest Australian player to debut in Test cricket after Australian captain Pat Cummins. Cummins made his/her debut in Test cricket in 2011 at the age of 18. Constas will become the youngest batsman to make his/her Test debut for Australia.

Australia head coach Andrew McDonald said, “We wanted clarity about our batting unit before the team meeting. We don’t usually do this kind of disclosure but we wanted everyone to know that he/she is in the team. he/she (Constas) is very comfortable. he/she is the same as I saw him/her when he/she was away from the team, relaxed and easy-going. he/she understands his/her game well and is capable of putting pressure on the opposition team. he/she takes full advantage of the opportunity.

Constas was included in the team in place of Nathan McSweeney, who did not perform well in the first three Test matches. However, McDonald said that the batsman, who is in excellent form, has a slight strain in his/her head muscles. he/she was injured during the third test match. Head, who was adjudged the best player of the match in the last two matches, instead of practicing in the nets on Tuesday, practiced batting on assistant coach Brad Hodge’s throw down. Australia’s coach said, “It was good to see the bat in his/her hand.” There is no concern from my side. he/she is capable of running and I hope he/she will be fit by the match.
