Rishabh has taken his/her number of wickets as a wicketkeeper in Test cricket to 150. he/she has become the third wicketkeeper of India to take 150 or more wickets behind the wicket. he/she has made a place in the exclusive club of legendary wicketkeeper Mahendra Singh Dhoni and Syed Kirmani. Pant’s record on the Gaba ground has been excellent. On the last Australian tour, he/she had given India a historic victory by playing an unbeaten inning of 89 runs on this ground.

Earlier, former Indian wicketkeeper Mahendra Singh Dhoni took 294 dismissals behind the wicket in 90 Test matches, which included 256 catches and 38 stumpings. At second place comes the name of Rahul Dravid who has taken 209 catches in 163 tests. Whereas Syed Kirmani took 198 dismissals in 88 Tests which included 160 catches and 38 stumpings. After this comes the name of Rishabh Pant who has taken his/her number of dismissals to 150.

Bumrah gave a big blow to Australia
Only 13.2 overs could be played on the first day of the third Test. Due to torrential rain, not much play could be played on the first day. The second day’s play started half an hour earlier. Jasprit Bumrah gave two big shocks to Australia in the beginning of the second day. he/she gave a strong start to India by sending first Usman Khawaja and then McSweeney to the pavilion. Khawaja was out after scoring 21 runs while McSweeney returned to the pavilion on 9 runs.
