12th failed movie maker’s son is passing big test in cricket


New Delhi. The relationship between Bollywood and cricket is not hidden from anyone. Movies have been made on many cricketers while some cricketers also married film actors. This is happening for the first time that a 25 year old boy from a well-known Bollywood family is creating havoc with his/her bat on the cricket field. Name is Agni Chopra. he/she is continuously scoring runs in the Ranji season. In the third round of Plate Division of Ranji Trophy, he/she played an innings of 218 runs in the match against Manipur. Agri faced 269 balls and hit 29 fours and one six. This was his/her eighth first class century and second double century. he/she scored a double century for the second consecutive match. In the second round, he/she scored unbeaten 238 runs against Arunachal Pradesh.

Agni Chopra, son of famous filmmaker Vidu Vinod Chopra, started his/her first class career 10 months ago in January 2024 and has played nine matches since then. Of these, he/she has scored 1585 runs so far. Eight centuries and four half-centuries have been to his/her name. In the current Ranji season, he/she has scored two centuries and has crossed 200 both times. his/her run scoring average is above 93 and his/her strike rate is also 90. Agni, who is in amazing form, has once again attracted everyone’s attention.

There is a big fire in the bat of fire

The beginning of the current Ranji season was not special for Agni. Scored 51 and 29 runs in the first match against Sikkim. Then he/she could not score a century. But in the second round match against Arunachal, he/she created a stir by playing innings of 110 and 238 not out. Now again Agdoni scored a double century against Manipur. Left-handed batsman Agni comes in at number three for Mizoram.

Left Mumbai again broke the bowlers

Before joining Mizoram, Agni Chopra had played in Mumbai Under-19 and Under-23 teams. Due to not getting further opportunities from Mumbai, he/she shifted to Mizoram on the request of his/her coach Khushpreet Singh. Earlier, he/she was the highest run-scorer in the plate group of Ranji Trophy 2024. Then he/she scored 939 runs in 12 innings at an average of 78.25. Agni then scored centuries in his/her first four first class matches and became the first batsman to do so. he/she scored 105, 101, 115, 10, 164, 15, 166 and 92 in these matches. Even in the second season, Agni’s bat is spitting fire and it seems as if he/she wants to send the echo of his/her bat’s blast to the ears of Mumbai selectors.
