10 fours, 3 sixes… Rinku Singh played an inning of 89 runs, gave hope to the team


New Delhi. On the basis of Rinku Singh’s brilliant innings, Uttar Pradesh has counterattacked Haryana in the Ranji Trophy match. Rinku played an inning of 89 runs in 110 balls with the help of 10 fours and 3 sixes. Captain Aryan Juyal continued his/her brilliant performance and scored an unbeaten century, while Rinku Singh played a stormy innings. On the strength of Juyal’s captaincy innings and Rinku’s explosive half-century, Uttar Pradesh scored 267 runs for 6 wickets in reply to Haryana’s 453 on the third day of the Ranji Trophy Group C match.

Juyal, who missed a century by eight runs in the last match against Bengal, is playing after scoring 118 runs. This is his/her fourth century in first-class cricket. So far, he/she has faced 196 balls and hit 13 fours and one six. Haryana’s leg spinner Yuzvendra Chahal could not perform well. Rinku Singh beat his/her balls a lot. So far, Aman Kumar, Harshal Patel and Jayant Yadav have taken two wickets each from Haryana’s side.

Jaskaranveer Singh Paul’s century on debut
In the Group C match being played in Mullanpur, opener Jaskaranveer Singh Paul scored unbeaten 117 runs in his/her debut match to put Punjab in a strong position against Madhya Pradesh. Punjab, which had gained a significant lead of 70 runs in the first innings, has scored 265 runs for three wickets in its second innings by the end of the third day’s play, taking its total lead to 335 runs.

Anmolpreet Singh played a brilliant inning of 72 runs.
Jaskaranveer has so far hit nine fours and one six in his/her 273-ball innings. Apart from him/her, Anmolpreet Singh played a brilliant inning of 72 runs. On the other hand, in the rain-affected match in Alur, Kerala had scored 161 runs for three wickets in its first innings by the end of the third day’s play against Karnataka. On the other hand, despite Yash Dhool’s fighting unbeaten century, Delhi team is struggling after scoring 264 runs for eight wickets in its first innings on the third day of Group D match of Ranji Trophy.

Delhi is 410 runs behind Tamil Nadu in the first innings
Delhi is still 410 runs behind Tamil Nadu in the first innings and has only two wickets left. In reply to Tamil Nadu’s 674 runs for six wickets, Delhi started the day with 43 runs without any loss. Amidst the fall of wickets from one end, Dhull is present at the crease after scoring 103 runs in 189 balls. Apart from Dhool, wicketkeeper Pranav Rajvanshi scored 40 runs while Sanat Sangwan (36) and Harsh Tyagi (35) made a partnership of 74 runs for the first wicket.
