1 win and the team will reach WTC FINAL, dream of winning the trophy for the first time

South Africa has secured the top position in the WTC table by winning the series against Sri Lanka 2-0. To secure a place in the final, they will have to win only one Test in the home series against Pakistan, which will start at the end of this month. If the series draws 1-1, their percentage will be 61.11%, and only India or Australia can surpass them.

If both the tests are drawn, South Africa’s percentage will be 58.33%. If India beats Australia 3-2 and Australia wins both the Tests in Sri Lanka, then both Australia (60.53%) and India (58.77%) can overtake them. If South Africa loses the series 1-0, they will have to hope that Australia does not win more than two of their remaining five Tests, or India does not get more than one win and one draw from their remaining three Tests in Australia .
