New Delhi. Pakistan cricket team finally got its first win in the ICC T20 World Cup. After losing two consecutive matches, everyone from fans to legends were waiting for Babar Azam’s team to open its account of victory. Pakistan got points in the points table and its hopes of going to the next round are alive. One wicket in the match against Canada turned the match around for the team.

After two consecutive defeats in the ICC T20 World Cup, Pakistan opened its account of victory. Host USA and then the Indian team forced Babar Azam’s army to kneel down. The World Cup match against Canada was a do or die for the team and here it brought relief to the fans by winning. In this match, on the basis of better bowling, the team managed to stop Canada at just 106 runs and then achieved the target by losing 3 wickets and registered a win.

The match against Canada also became difficult for the Pakistan team. On one side the bowlers were taking wickets and on the other side the attack was going on. Aaron Johnson single-handedly took care of the Pakistani bowlers. This opener was leading the charge by hitting 4 fours and as many sixes. Naseem Shah sent him/her back by clean bowling him/her in the 14th over.

If this batsman, who was in great form, had not been dismissed, the score would have been different. Pakistan’s team looked uncomfortable even in scoring 106 runs. If Canada had scored 130 or 135 runs, things would have been messed up for Babar Azam’s team. Johnson was dismissed after scoring 52 runs in 44 balls at a strike rate of 118.
