Zomato will donate amount equal to salary

There will be no salary for the first year, but Zomato is promising to donate Rs 50 lakh to any charity of the candidate’s choice – an amount equal to the typical salary for a Chief of Staff role. From the second year onwards, recruitment as Chief of Staff will command a salary of more than Rs 50 lakh per annum.

What will happen to the fee of Rs 20 lakh?

The fee of Rs 20 lakh paid by the candidate in a year for the job will be directly donated to Zomato’s non-profit initiative, Feeding India. This has forced people to think. Goyal clarified that this fee is to ensure that applicants are motivated by the learning opportunity and not by money.
